Windows XP :

- Athlon XP 1400+ 1.1Ghz or Pentium 4 1.2Ghz (Athlon 64 2000+ 1.5Ghz or Pentium 4 2.0Ghz recommended)
- GeForce 4 or ATI 9200 or Intel X3100 (GeForce 5500 or ATI 9500 recommended)
- 256mb of ram (512mb recommended)

Windows Vista :

- Athlon 64 2600+ 1.6Ghz or Pentium 4 2.6Ghz (Athlon X2 3500+ 2.1Ghz or Core 2 Duo E4500 1.8Ghz recommended)

***INSTALLATION***

First uninstall all previous installations of release candidates since they are all standalones and also because you may encounter unexpected bugs if you don't do it.

Launch the setup, press "Accept", select your installation directory and click on "Install". The extraction process should take about 45-90 seconds depending on your computer. During the installation, a new folder called "Valve Lan Portable" will be automatically created in the folder you chose. I recommend you to install the game in the default folder (D:/Games).

Game shortcuts are included in the "Valve Lan Portable/shortcuts" folder. Just copy the appropriate shortcut (according to the drive where you installed the game, that is to say C or D) on your desktop but please note that it will work only if you installed the game into X:/Games/Valve Lan Portable. Sorry for that, but for the moment I don't know how to do *proper* setups happy.gif .

If you want to install the game elsewhere, you'll have to create a shortcut manually. For that, you'll have to right click on the "hl.exe" located in the "Valve Lan Portable" folder and then select "Create a shortcut". Then, put this shortcut on your desktop and go into the shortcut properties and add "-game cstrike" at the end of the target line. At last, you'll also have to select the cstrike icone. For that, click on "Change icone" into properties and select "Valve Lan Portable\cstrike\game.ico". Your shortcut is done. Contragulations smile.gif

In case of CD key or game issue, please use the "cdkey.reg" fix located in the "Valve Lan Portable" directory.

***HOW TO USE***

The RCON password is "toto" by default. You can change it if you want by editing the "rcon_password" line in the "listenserver.cfg" file located in the "cstrike" folder.

To disable detailed textures (which are enabled by default), type "r_detailtextures 0"
in the console.

Bots console commands (most of them are part of through Zeph's command menu) :

- bot_about -> shows bot version
- bot_add -> adds a bot
- bot_add_ct -> adds a counter-terrorist bot
- bot_add_t -> adds a terrorist bot
- bot_chatter on/radio/off -> specifies if bots talk with voice/radio/don't talk (in this version, voice sounds were ripped since talking bots are boring and also for space convenience, but they can still use radio commands smile.gif
- bot_defer_to_human 0/1 -> specifies if bots will accomplish objectives on their own (=0) or not (=1)
- bot_difficulty 0/1/2/3 -> sets bots difficulty as easy/normal/difficult/expert
- bot_join_after_player 0/1 -> specifies if bots will join a game before (=0) or after (=1) a human player joined it (useful for dedicated servers)
- bot_kick -> kicks all bots
- bot_kick xxx -> kicks xxx bot (where xxx = bot name)
- bot_kill xxx -> kills xxx bot (where xxx = bot name)
- bot_prefix xxx -> specifies a tag before bot names (where xxx = tag)
- bot_quota x -> specifies number of bots in the game (where x = number of bots)
